What be yer thoughts? I have a craftsman that has served me well, for over 12 years. And it is still in fine condition, I've just about outgrown it. I also have things in the file cabinet next to it. I want a long and low box. I have a 60 inch Milwaukee at home and I like it, it's not ideal, but for home it's good. At work I need long drawers, more than one. Looking on craigslist, 2-3k will get a 54 inch snap on or a few older 72's. And after looking at them, a 54 isn't big enough. So that got me looking at these.

You could look up Montazuma tool boxes.
My son bought this one used for 1000.00 It seems to be good quality. He uses it everyday day with his new job and has no complaints with it. That said he wants a Snap On. But he’s got no bills to pay so I guess if that what he wants go ahead.

I’d be happy to have the Montazuma

The Homak has light duty slides, only rated at 100lbs each. Only has 4 casters. Only one long drawer. And that single 50 inch drawer is only rated at 200lbs. Looks good, decent price, I like that it comes with a stainless top. It doesn't look like it would be the right box for me.

The Husky boxes look nice. Real nice. But. One long drawer. I'm kinda hung up on having more than one long drawer. I want alllll my sockets in one drawer. That will take one long drawer. I want all my screw drivers and pry bars in one drawer. My 48inch pry bar dictates what that will require.

The Harbor Freight ones are only 22 deep, and only two casters.

I don't think there is much variance in these boxes. They all look the same. They all have pretty much the same type drawer latches. They seem to vary in features, (rated) capacity of drawer slides, and number of slides, features like SS top, corner trim, aluminum drawer pulls vs steel. The big box models seem big on the built in power strip.

I think I'm gonna go with this one. It checks all the boxes of things I want. I like the green. Stainless top. I like the detent drawer slides.

x4 on the Harbor Freight boxes. Their 56" and 72" boxes are actually well built. General view I've found among other diesel/hydraulic mechanics is that they're roughly 80% of the quality of their high end competitors, at 1/10th the cost.

Again, the harbor freight boxes are too small. I want to stick too a 72 long by 29 deep, with no top box. After looking and thinking, I think I am gonna go with a used Snap-On box. I think I should be able to get into one for $3500 after doing some looking and throwing some numbers at people who have them listed.

This was listed at 3450, he came down to 3150 on the phone. The price was real right, but it doesn't have a SS or butcher block top. And I don't like red, I'll take a red on for a screaming deal though.

This is listed for 5500, he came down to 4500, but that's too much.

What size are theses boxes?

The orange ones are 72x29x47, not sure on the height of the one with the hutch. Those are KRL1023 models. The other two are 72x29x41, KRL7023.

Spoiler alert: I am buying one of these four boxes.

I have the blue one. Get it. It's nice.

I’m assembling a Harbor Freight Yellow 30” tool cart I Just got back to the shop with right now. Had the $189 coupon, normal $219. We have a harbor freight half a block down the street. It’s Really Not safe for your walket to have one so damn close.

It’s just too easy to say F it, I wanted that tool in snap on, but will settle for HF just simply due to convenience. It litterally walking distance. Going to walk there tomorrow to see how long it takes. I still Really want their steel hydraulic lift table. Those damn table/carts are Sooo freaking handy. That’s the next purchase tool-wise I’ve decided.
