Well guys I got home today after school (hooray! last day!) and I got to work. I crawled under the truck and decided to just tighten everything up and to my surprise the drill didn't get things very tight because I was so worried about over-tightening them I set it too loose.
I got in there w/ an extension and my sockets and went to town, I tightened everything up just until I saw the pan pull into the block then gave them one last 1/2 turn. To my surprise that's basically all it was!
I ran it around for about 10 minutes in the neighborhood and when I got home I hopped the curb and drove straight onto the grass, I hopped out and jumped under the truck to check it while the pressure was still high and it wasn't leaking from the pan.
The only spot that I saw any oil dripping from was from the small hole in the bottom of the torque converter cover. I think it was from overfilling the oil pan though. Even so it was about one small drop every 45 seconds for about 10 minutes then it stopped. I'll keep an eye on it but I'd say this project is DONE!
