WMS for the SRW axles is 72". The Ford wheels have a good amount of backspacing, the outside of the tire tread is just at the outside of the fender on this one.been eyeing your coil SD setup on your site. Very cool.
Whats the WMS on the ford 60?
Yep, darker blue.Looking good, I like the fact it’s so simple. Makes me want to buy a k30 now.
Speaking of k30’s did you paint yours? Looks darker.
To piggy back off this (no pun intended), will @Hogback Fabrication be making a complete kit for someone to do the swap vs buying several sku’s? That would be great. I’m a possible buyer when time comes (sometime next year). What is the msrp for the coil buckets?
Or what's the entire kit cost?

Also, do stock SD coils translate to stockish ride height? And say you wanted 4” lift, what would be used to achieve that?
(Sorry to hijack build thread!) what you are doing is very cool.

News to me, I couldn't find much on the internet either. Mechanics definitely get a different view of this stuff though. One item I noticed on the SD D60, the right knuckle steering arm hole wears out making the steering sloppy. We would always swap in a new Ford knuckle.
Eventually the Ford replacement will dry up. Any plans to develop a better tue rod/ cross over link tie in ?
Probably with stock arms. I thought i saw high clearance arms online, but pricey. For a street driven truck this is definitely awesomeId be a buyer for a kit like this, I just wonder if the brackets and arms would be rock magnets.
Will you make brackets and such to do coilovers as an upgrade option? That would be cool tooWe based this around '76-79 Bronco/F150 coils, a stock coil for those ends up at ~4" of lift. This truck actually has ~1" lowering coils on it, fortunately custom coil springs are cheap and easy compared to leaves (I think these were a couple hundred $/pair).
We should have everything on the website shortly![]()
The Burb build is AWESOME but the pull truck looked cool enough to warrant a short description too.
Probably no more than my setup has, not sure if you looked closely at it but I have hit it and bent it. I believe your in 37’s so you got a little more then me.Id be a buyer for a kit like this, I just wonder if the brackets and arms would be rock magnets.
