My poor attempt to document my Blazer build and progress as it happens when it happens.
I made some head way today with my 2wd 4l80e vs 4wd 4l80e conundrum. After talking with a NP205 builder yesterday, advance adapters and gearstar.. I decided to ditch the 2wd conversion to 4wd idea and purchase a level 2 4l80e from gearstar. I will pair that with a advance adapters 50-6912 ( circular adapter) and have a correct NP205 built with the correct Vss sensor mounted in the tail section. The Advance adapter does not have shift linkage provisions so I will get a twin stick conversion. I sold the 2wd 4l80e to a buddy for him to use in his supercharged 2wd Blazer he's building.
I also talked to Jason a Pacific Fab and he has my engine crossmember shipping out today. Now if I could just get a painter to answer the phone so we can talk colors and pricing I could get a idea of how bad that will hurt. lol!

Small update. I was able to free up shop space and put some money back into the build funds.
Yesterday I sold my original 72 tub with top, doors, and tailgate. Then I also sold the gen 3 6.0 and 4l80e(2wd) that I salvaged from a truck I bought for a square body build I put on the back burner to do this K5 build.
New 4l80e should be here Friday 2-9-24 and the transfer case shouldn't be too far behind it.

Sorry for the delay in updates. I've received a few smaller parts nothing much to talk about until recently. I got some build pics of the blazer tub being assembled by the guys at Tuckers. I'm also playing with the idea to ditch the fuel fill behind the tail light and move it to behind the left rear marker light due to fitment at the tail light not letting the tail light trim to be used. updated pics below.
These are all new pieces. Most of the aftermarket bodies are shipped overseas for assembly and Tuckers asked if they could take a swing at it. This is their 1st one.
I received some more assembly pics today. I also ordered the TMI/Hogan Built Seat Mounts for the front and their Amp Step brackets.
I'm not sure to be honest. Tuckers is in Cedar City Utah. I'm in Ridgefield Washington and won't see this in person until I meet them at the C10 Nationals in Salt Lake City the 3rd week of this coming June.
So the time has come and this is the week I go to the C10 Nationals in Salt Lake City Utah( i doubt there's another one) and pick up my new blazer tub. Added pics for attention
