Went wheeling broke the straps on my front axle yoke and lost one of the caps to the ujoint. Time to upgrade!

I was going to run a 231 but struck out at picknpull. Then on my way back in I found a 241 already pulled so I went with it. It was actually pretty straight forward to make, did it all with a drill and angle grinder. The middle hole is kind of a bitch but with a 4" hole saw to start it with its doable

Yea looks pretty straight forward.
Where did you aquire the 1" aluminum?
And do you still have said hole saw?

Its only 1/2" 6061 and I got it at American International Manufacturing Co in Woodland. It was about $90 for a piece about 5 times as big as you need if I remember right

As mike said in his build...we traded rims so now the jimmys got beadlocks!
Got the first 2 painted n cleaned while waiting for the last 2 n inserts.

Yup, that was mine for a few years. I miss it but didn't need another project sitting on jack stands in my yard lol!
