Black Betty - Formerly Blaze the Monster Machine

1984 K5 Project for Dad and kids
It's getting dual 3" all the way back, 45* exit at the bumper with slash cut chrome tips. Black Widow Venom 250 mufflers. He's going to try and squeeze an h-pipe in as well but it depends on room.

Some quick details. With the current config of exhaust it's 97dB at idle and a 108dB during normal acceleration. I'm working on a video compilation of before and after.
 
What mufflers are on it now? Those black widow mufflers appear like they will get louder, they do sound clean.
 
Pulled the cowl off to work on my wipers and see why they started to move then stopped. Jammed full of sand and dirt. Gonna get all that cleaned out and spray some lube on the joints and hope it works. Also going to hook up the windshield washer jets since I’m in here.

Got the cowl washed out. Saw three places inside the cab where water trickled but couldn’t see where in the cowl they may have come from so not gonna worry at the moment.

Wipers work but only on high. Dunno why but I’ll take it.

Now to tackle the tailgate with the window that won’t roll all the way down because everything is rusted out and getting bound up.

Usually when that happens it's a bad contact on the coils inside the airbox. The resistors that give you lower speeds
