Black Betty, Rock Crawlin Trail Truck Build !!!FOR SALE!!

Lookin good man, I need to get with yall when I get done with crossover and go ride. Good work on the rig! Wheres the "local spot" you speak of?

Not to far from me, You ever been to Lake Capri in Lithonia? great place you should check it out.

Nice job on the rig man...

So I take it your brakelines were long enough...looks a little tight in the last picture there...

Could you snap a picture of your finished driver side shock tower for me when you get a chance???

The brake lines are actually perfect I think. I think the shock bottoms out just before the brake line gets too tight. I took it up to Tennessee this weekend and put it to the test. I'll give a full report w/ pics when I get some time. Got a big ol dent in the fender too.

well I got some more seat time in the rig. Ended up welding up the D60 after I flopped it. Also blew out a piece of back glass when the cab flexed into a tree I had the cage laid into.

Great pics, are you satisfied with the way the suspension is performing? How is the front shock mounting working for ya?

It was Golden Mountain. A new place this year. A guy from my club cut all the trails and its a really nice park.

The suspension is awsome up front and everyone keeps talking about how nice the truck rides on the trail and how its comfortable. The rear however flexes good, but could be better.

It steers like a shopping cart (or shopping buggy as they say in the south) without caster wheels...

Hydro assist is in the works.

not sure yet. I'll see how hydro assist feels. I gave up on having it streetable so detroit might be waste of money. not sure yet

Awsome build thread and awsome truck!

Quick question, Did you use regular spray paint rustoleum or did you shoot it with a gun and compresser? What about the high build primer?

Thanks
