Since we're talking about dates how about we talk about trail runs too. :D

Thursday:

Friday:
  • AreaBFE tech & trails
  • Newby run

Saturday:

Sunday:

I would appreciate it if anyone could volunteer to trail boss. As trail leader you get to choose the starting time and meeting place for your trail run. :deal:

Nicole & I plan to cover the Crack n' Back and Powder Puff run.

Probably end up on Billings Thursday
Area BFE Friday. looking to do all the hard stuff. Britney, green day up hill and Helldorado. More or less
I'll take Moab rim and Pritchett together Saturday.

maybe the powder puff run Sunday.

I was wanting to do "crack and back" but include a run the proper way through "Rusty Nail".

I'll gladly volunteer to be a trail leader again :waytogo:

I will help out with Pritchet again.

I so want to do the trifecta but not sure as it gets closer I will know.

Unless I pick up something in the next year that I don't mind kicking the crap out of, I think I am gonna stick to the milder trails again this year... Prichette was a bit much for me in the Tahoe. Need something with a lower center of gravity, roll cage and no concerns for body damage :D

That Billings canyon looks cool, any concern for the bigger rigs on that? Maybe stay Wednesday night in grand junction then go into moab Thursday night. I am wanting to do a rusty nail, crack, and back too.

I wanna do the crack and back thing too never have done it though so I can't lead, well I did it years ago but it was literally like 12 years ago

You and I can lead that run and if you split off to do an unofficial run through Rusty Nail I'll probably not try too hard to stop you. Maybe just a few stern words or something. :sign14:

:haha:

Not that I've ever heard. Just need to be well equipped, but I don't see any problems with you guys running it.

Here are some signs on that trail:

miniwally knows more about that trail that I do though.

Sounds like a great lineup! Thanks for letting us know early on the Billings canyon so we can plan ahead. I too would like to do Rusty Nail to crack and back out.

my club just ran billings last weekend and the biggest i can think of was a crew cab on 4"s and 39s some damage to the body its a truggy

I've been through billings with a Blazer on 40's and it wasn't a disaster.

Not a "hard" trail but it's hard enough. Upper Helldorado is tighter than billings.

yes when we ran Billings there were a few tight spots and i got a little damage on one of my rear tube door and pillar from when the front tire slipped off a rock. i would recommend at least 1 locker 2 would be better and rock sliders and a winch just in case. we had a couple of jeeps and buggies 1 jeep needed to winch 4 times but for mechanical problems. so in other words yes a full size will fit. there are winch points thru out the trail:D
