I would appreciate it if anyone could volunteer to trail boss. As trail leader you get to choose the starting time and meeting place for your trail run. :deal:

Could you put in difficulty level of these trails? I've followed the links but didn't see anything specific. TIA :woot:

david, i have been wanting to make this for several years. if you go, i will caravan up with you and take one of the blazers (or x-chassis or f-toy) :D

On the trail damage pages there's a blue box in the upper right-hand corner that gives difficulty ratings. They give a highend and low end difficulty because some trails will vary with weather conditions and availability of bypasses. They also give you levels of different features like water crossings, mud, scenery, etc.

BTW what's the Trifecta??
quote from http://blazerbash.com/trails.html
The "Trifecta": Poison Spider Mesa-Golden Spike-Gold Bar Rim (Hardcore)
Distance: 19 miles (approximate)
Obstacles: Chutes, Big Ledge, Prelaunch Pad, Waterfall, Wedgy, Sand Bowl, Tippy Dome, Launch Pad, Skyline Drive, Witch's Crotch, Washtub, Zuki Hill, Golden Crack, Buggy Challenge, Golden Stairs, Golden Coaster, Double Whammy, Body Snatcher
Description: The Trifecta is the ultimate Moab wheelin' experience as it encompasses 3 trails with numerous challenging and fun obstacles. Everyone needs a picture of their rig on the Golden Crack and this best opportunity to get it done. Plan on a LONG day for this trail, but you won't regret a minute of it. In order to help us get everyone off the trail before dark, please keep in mind this trail is only for the most prepared vehicles. Minimum 35" tires & 1 locker required. The trail is rated "Hardcore" due to its length and numerous obstacles.
I really enjoyed this trail and will be doing again this year. Don't let the "hardcore" thing scare you. I think there were only 3 breakages and they were all bolts that ended up causing more damage. Horton broke a few driveshaft bolts, damaging the front shaft' a 4-runner pulled some rear studs from an axle housing, allowing the third member to pull free, and i pulled the studs from the D60's spring mount.

Ah ha...thanks for the info bud :D

I'd be taking this BTW...

The only thing we came across that had me concerned was the drop off where that side by side rolled. That was a bit hairy to come down... The rest of it was a bit of a blur, blew through it pretty quick

Yeah, that was a little sketchy. I don't think I would have worried as much about that one if we wouldn't have seen the side by side rolled over though.:dunno: That kinda freaked me out for a while.

Bring more propane one tank wont make it. Oil filter hill worried me that was just right before the side by side drop off

If you wheel trifecta or prichet I would bring two, both have had a history of being and all day into the night trail sometimes. Like leave at 8 am get home a 2 am that night.

Snacks, lots of snacks. And toys for the kids to play with. We ran both of those last year with the kids. Trifecta we where back in town about 6 i think. Prichet we didn't start till 9, got back at 9 that night. Had a few guys breaks, and a decent sized group of us. Was still a great run.

I usually run a mild trail with the kids then a hard core one with out them all the sitting around and stuff they get rather bored and hot. When I broke in 2010 they got to go home with a different truck and we were out till like 11pm.
Which is why I stick with a hotel room. Might do a cabin or house this year but something where they can look the do and not have to outside to shower.

This year that will probably change they more then likely they will be coming all the time but we will see, depends on which ones come down.

Thats one of the great things about moab and blazer bash. If the family wants to hang in town for the day, town is cool to see or arches. If you want to wheel then there is somebody going so you don't go alone. Good times for all.

Now that registration is open, what trails do you still need a trail boss for?
