Blazer Bash 2019

What would the suggestions be for a truck like mine at BB? I think I could take on some difficult trails, but not really looking for body damage on the truck or camper. I'm looking at coming out on Wednesday before BB, possibly hit a trail or two on Thursday and then hitting BB trails Friday and Saturday. I'll have to boogie home on Sunday.

What say the BB veterans? Just as a reminder, mine has a 5.3 swap, D44/14b with a Tru-trac up front, open in rear (but a LOT of weight over the rear) and 35" tires.

Metal masher

Sunday

The first trail @Bent77 listed for each day would be perfectly fine for you.

It's pretty hard to get body damage on 95% of the trails in Moab.

My main issue is anything off camber that might toss the camper into a rock wall or something. I wasn't thinking of trees like we are used to in Colorado.

But those sound good. Maybe get out on fins and things on Thursday if anyone is in town early.

We will start a thread outside of this section of the site. Any trails ran on days other than event days can not be tied to BB. Will mess up our permit.

10-4. Being a noob I didn't know the protocol. Thanks for the correction.

Flat Iron Mesa a couple spots you would probably want to avoid and they both have bypasses. The Tilt o Whirl and the Intimidator.

Hell's Revenge also has bypasses for anything you might not want to do but really can't think of anything that would pitch you into the rocks. Most off camber in Moab pitch you into the great void. Haha!

I appreciate the info. I've got a pretty good spider sense when stuff don't look or feel right for my truck. Not afraid to bypass if needed.

Moab is pretty good about having bypasses or at least optional lines.

I would like to suggest we show a little maturity and dress up for the BBQ...That said I will be wearing the coolest Hawaiian ever made. I am throwing out the challenge to anyone who thinks they can beat it to man (or woman however you identify) up and bring it.

I will be dressed at the BBQ

Don’t push your luck
