Blazer Bash 2020 last minute thrash

Maybe I spent too much time around you.....
I'm confused, I coulda sworn the 4488 car was a plated suburban and they should be able to seat 6. So what's the problem.....
Key Word WAS, dropped the insurance and registration the last time I got stopped and looked a really funny for having a plate. The County Mounty did think my driving it on back roads was funny and wanted it taken directly to the shop. I said no problem and jumped on the 4 lane HWY and drove the 5 miles directly to the shop, that wasn't exactly what he had in mind I guess but he let it fly.
I do wish CO was easier to get something registered to drive on the road for short trips.
There is a guy here in east Tennessee who shows up at car shows in a front engine dragster from the 60's. Added stuff to make it steerable. Told me he drove it to Nashville once. That 200 miles.

This is where I am at also, I have a yard full of trees but none have produced any money???
The heated seats and steering wheel in the challenger will fry you very quickly.
A drew up plans for a single seat buggy a while back.
I plan on being there and being one of the crazy ones that drives it and wheels it, all the way from Florida! The past few months have been productive, and the BB2020 prep list is a relatively short one:
- build bumpers
- install longer brake lines
- adjust shocks
- wrap up rust repair
- Relocate muffler to driver side so I can install the ORD anti-wrap bar.
- install interior flooring and sound proofing so the burb is livable and polite on the 2,007-mile-one-way trip out there.
- re-reseal the passenger side valve cover.
I’ll also be bringing my wife and kids!

Currently planning on taking 16 days (incl weekends) from 9/5-9/20 and make it a multi-destination vacation.

I think you should draw plans for a rig that you can highway cruise to Moab from TN and also hit the trails with.
I looked into that. Was trying to save fuel money. By the time I built the truck and got 12mpg on gas over the 7.5mpg diesel I get now. I would be dead by the time it paid for itself.
Funny how the maths work on that stuff. After Nate finished up his 6bt swap I was thinking it would be cool to do in the crew cab but even the phenomenal MPG improvement would still take 10 years to pay back with the miles I drive it.
Although it is okay to do a thing just because you want to whether or not it's the most sound financial investment.
Wade just needs A/C and noise canceling headphones and he can drive the Jimmy...
And more horse power.
I have said before that I like hauling because I do not have to worry about driving it back.
