Blazer Bash 2021 discussion. Online Reg NOT ending soon

Does Swag make a 30 cal can bracket? I know they have the 50 cal

Are there any other “easy” trails for Friday or Sunday? I registered for one on Saturday and was curious if there was anything going on the other days for those not taking on the rougher trails?

The “Zoo’s Zoo” option would be the easiest option we have listed

But let’s back up a second. Tell us about you and your truck

I guess that would help. Our blazer “Eddie” is a 1986 K5 350 tbi w/ Sm465 4x4 with a hallmark camper built on. It’s mostly stock aside from the camper so I didn’t want to wheel it too hard.

Flat Iron Mesa on Sunday has bypasses on everything. What size tires are you running?

Backwords bill has only one challenging spot. And we could get you past without any issues.

I am assuming you are driving the truck there.

Correction, it’s a 1987. But yes I will be driving out from Virginia. We’ve been out to the Moab area several times over the past few years, but never aligned with the bash. Tires are nitto terra grappler 31x10.5 on stock wheels. I’ve replaced leaf bushings with ORD ones and it has helper springs out back for the camper weight. Neither of us are experienced in serious off-roading. Just the occasional trail or mud hole in the jeep.

Yeah that’s too straight to make it on most of the trails on 31s without smashing the bumpers at least. But there’s usually folks with open seats, and also other trails you can do (like Chicken Corners) that won’t tear up your stuff

Sounds good. The Zoo’s zoo should be fine , right?

Eddie!

You know me from Instagram. @robzulian

We'll keep that rig on the straight and narrow on Saturday. I'll be on backwards bill on Friday too.

Super stoked to meet up with you all finally.

Heck yea! Hopefully we won’t break down in the middle of nowhere on the way out this time.
