Last bit of prep done. Just waiting for t he closing bell to hit the road.

Well my trip is delayed a bit. Traffic jam I 70 so I stopped well off the road to let the truck cool and this yahoo in the white car went flying by just missing the back end of the jimmy he was running from a deputy and took the shoulder lost control and hit 2 cars and an Rv.

Now I get to change a fuel pump in Fruita. At least I have it with me and I found a shady spot.

Picked up a new fuel filter but they didn't have a new pump. I will have to check Moab tomorrow

I am in Utah. I put the new fuel filter on. I am boiling the fuel from the heat and proximity to the tail pipe. It goes for a bit then I have to let it cool and run again. Temps should be going down so that should help.
