Sorry I wasn't there to print shirts for this year. I hope you get it worked out.

Working on lining up a few items like Trail Leaders and tail gunners. I'm light on registrations compared to the headcount thread. Please PM me if you are having a problem registering.

I'll be leading the easy trails all three days, with @Fastereddie and @Wes Harden.

Again if you haven't registered and have a problem on the Paypal side please let me know and I'll get it worked out with you.

I'm registered, but don't see myself on the list.
I saw your registration email from paypal I didn't have it on my list. I'll fix that. That's partly why I posted them earlier to see if I missed anybody.

Also, while in Paypal tonight I had to validate a couple of items as it was putting a hold on transactions to me. In the process while they validate they aren't allowing any incoming transactions. I've got to get on the phone with them in the morning to straighten it out. Until then the registration link through Paypal is on hold. I will post up once it's fixed.

Arrgh....

Further update on Paypal:

I talked to them this morning. They have escalated the case but until it's resolved the account is disabled. Those that need to register, please email to [email protected] or call/text me at 303-324-0360.

I apologize for the issue and intend to get it resolved as fast as Paypal will allow.

So, back to the t-shirts. I didn't see anywhere to order them. Are they included with our registration, or are you just going to sell those after the event since they aren't ready?

The shirts will be after due to the delay of everything.

I will post up about the shirts once I have that set. I’ve spent the last week battling with the insurance company to get the event insured.

Long story short our insurance company/underwriter for the last 6 years decided at the very last possible second to deny our coverage. Eventually I found that the underwriter was not going to cover motorized events any further.

They had our information for two weeks prior. The underwriter cited a “system crash” that caused the delay. Comparing notes with Wade they had the same exact thing happen last year.

I had to have the insurance info turned into the county Wednesday last week by 5:00pm for a final review by the county commission. Well they gave me the word at 3:00. Giving me two hours to scramble finding another carrier and get it set.

A strongly worded email to our existing company was sent that night along with multiple requests to other companies. One company in MN responded back with interest. So at 5:30am I’m filling out forms and talking to the agent.

Meanwhile between the time I’m asking for loss reports from the old company to provide to the new company I get word the old underwriter changed their mind and would cover it.

Mind you the entire time I’m in contact with Kate from the county letting her know of the debacle currently going on. She by far is the only reason this shindig is going to happen. She managed to get them to allow out now completed application in, even though it was late.

Unfortunately that was the main reason for me not making progress on the shirts.

Bet there will be dudes in the Moab Rim rv parking lot selling counterfeits, just like every major event:rotfl: Wait till after and hit'm with $5

Man it was so nice when we had the insurance agent right there in Moab. Too bad the agency that took over was a flake.

The insurance company we have is ok, the underwriter they used is the flake. Though Priorty one moving forward is finding an insurance company that won't pull this crap. I was in contact with them back in April trying to get it an early start. The fact they pulled a similar delay on Wade, though not saying no is still a big problem.

I would check with the agencies there in Moab again. It was very handy using the local guy. 1) Because he understood exactly what we needed, and 2) he would often just hand deliver the COI to the BLM and SITLA. Unfortunately that agent passed away unexpectedly. The agent that was supposed to pick up his clients would never get back to me, but that was probably because he was a little overwhelmed with all the other clients he was dealing with. By now things might have chilled out enough he would be more responsive. After that happened, I used the agent that handles our business insurance because I figured that gave him a little more incentive to take good care of me on the event insurance.
