Blazer build with pics

This is true. If you've banged on it too hard, there's a chance the seal could have been unseated or damaged. Unfortunately, that seal is a pain in the ass to replace. Requires pulling the carrier out of the housing.

If it comes to it the trick for removal is a broomstick down the axle tube :D

Well after some persuasion I got the axle shafts back in, thankfully nothing like what you guys are describing was wrong haha.
Well we didn't finish the front axle today, ran into alot of snags. But I did finish painting the frame, and cleaned out the local hardware store of their flat black lol.

Nice. Your gonna wanna do that frame in something other than flat black spray paint though.

Go for either 3m undercoating or por15.

Yea I went over it with 2 coats of rust bullet which is some really thick stuff from what I can tell. It should be covered for a while, hopefully.

Where working on putting the disk kit together, but it looks like our studs are too short. Can anyone here point me in the rite direction for longer studs? The ones we currently have are 3 inches long, it looks like I need a 4 or 5 inch stud.

Alright so I finished the front axle, waiting on more wheel studs to finish the rear. But i slid it under the frame to get ready to bolt it on to the leafs.

For both front and rear I just picked up the rotors and calipers from auto zone, nothing special. The rear and front calipers and rotors are exactly the same. They are designed for the 10 bolt 3/4 ton front.

Simple answer , No :D. Turn them around. I'll try to find and link a pic for you

yea thats what I was thinkin, I was looking at a stock shackle and put them on like that. I'll flip em.

dually 14 bolt studs might work for you. my single wheel studs work just fine though. i used diy4x brackets.

Yea, I ended up using studs from a c30. Strangely, they where $2 a piece at autozone, $5 a piece from napa, and $4 a piece from carquest. I had these all priced because I wasn't able to pick up all 16 studs in one place.

Thanks guys, heres a small update.

Front axle is totally locked down now.

I also had a question about this license plate that used to be on our truck, I was wondering if I could put it on the front but then put my pa license plate on the back. Would I get pulled over or something for having two different license plates?

Also, some cool stuff coming in the mail. Some 12 inch travel bilstein shocks, ford shock mounts, and a shock absorber inboarding kit from diy4x.
