Now the trailer needs to be re-painted to match the rigs. Oh and maybe a set of beadlocks as well :D

That's probably the best view I have until Thursday.

Damm that's a sweet setup! Looks good! Have a good trip. I'm going next yr!
i wont be making any big trips like him but at least ill be drivin mine again in a couple weeks.so happy.awesome setup by the way cybrfire.its sick to see it all together and with the crazy awesome tow rig makes it all the more better.whats that about 75 g sittin there?thats what im guessin anyway.have fun.

All 4 of the pickups are the type that close off when air is introduced. They have to be submerged to be open.
Nice, where do you buy them?

Unfortunately, I didn't take more pics of the shaft construction. The plate has a hole in the center that the yoke fits in. Yoke goes through the 1/2" plate, half way and then there is a full circle bead on the inside of the flange.
I should have figured as much, unlike me you don't seem to be the type of person to do anything half-assed :D

Awesome

"We the People" is a nice touch also

After the bash. I have had some time to think about some things. There are a few things that need to be changed.

A smaller pulley on the power steering pump to bump the steering pressure at idle.

Double pass aluminum radiator. Hopefully I can find one the same size as the aluminum rad that is in there now. Don't want to change all the mounting. Along the cooling lines, I'm going to move the sending unit for the radiator fans back to the radiator. Then, I'm looking to move some air in the engine bay as well. Maybe just a fan to push air up and out of the engine bay. Gets deathly hot under there. Hopefully these things will address the overheating issues.

I'm gona ditch the idea of carrying a full size spare and use this space for some tool boxes along with a better method of carrying spare parts, water and fuel. I think I will also figure out a way to carry some tents and sleeping bags. Seems only logical that if i'm in a place I may break something, I may want to be prepared for a longer stay.

Of course there is always the fine tuning on the injection that still needs to be done.

Hood vents

How big is your fan on your radiator

did you get the air out of the system

Yep, hood vents would be great and gona try to make something happen there.

Dual 12" fans that worked flawlessly on the previous build, could do the windstar fans. I'm not convinced the fans are the culprit. I think the radiator is not large enough or efficient enough with the current engine. I'll try the rad first. I really don't want to redo all the radiator mounting so I'm crossing my fingers I can find one the same size in a double pass. I may also try some duct work to get more fresh air into the rad. If I do have to redo all the rad mounting, I may do two radiators.

We did get the air out of the system, it still wasn't quite enough to stay cool.

I don't remeber cuz I really didn't look when i was under it but do you fans push the air down?

Not that redesigning it is what you want but, anyway to get colder air from the the top and pushing it out the top useing the idea that hot air rizes.

I know your exhaust exit under the body so the sucking air from underneath would be sucking some hot air.

The fans are on the back and pull the air from under the rig, up and out.

Exhaust is outside the frame, but yes, under the truck holding some heat down there. Exhaust ends slightly forward of the rad so that may be an issue. I may try to route the exhaust up higher at the ends.

Boy did "we"...:doah:

:haha::haha::haha:

Move the tire, stand it up straight, the radiator, build some sort of cowling so it pulls the air from the front area of the truck then out the back like an stadium truck does. Guess that would mean a redesign however it would work the best, and if you can't find a radiator then it gives you an excuse
