Blazer is really done. Last pictures while she is still mine.

Move the tire, stand it up straight, the radiator, build some sort of cowling so it pulls the air from the front area of the truck then out the back like an stadium truck does. Guess that would mean a redesign however it would work the best, and if you can't find a radiator then it gives you an excuse

By front area, do you mean from up around the engine bay? Not sure how the hot air from the engine bay would help. There is quite a bit of room for cowling of some sort.

Tire is history. I'd rather carry tubes and tire plugs.

No like through your back window, not a good idea but it would work, over the top of the cap, around the sides of the cab. Under isn't the best idea you have enough hot stuff going on there now.

My first and the best, its my idea right, would be from the top of the truck so the air coming over the roof would flow into it.

I really like the tire tube idea

Top of the truck would be nice. Tubes can get you home. They could also already be in the tire so no need to brake down the wheel.

REally need to start Cage and get D60 up front. As well as start building Engine then IM almost good of course I need seats and a few other things as well.

New CB mounted and wired up.

New radiator acquired, mounting altered to suit, fan shroud half built. One radiator hose that was marginally pinched off has been corrected.

Floor panel removed and going after the leak between the transfer cases.

Working on it again felt pretty good.

good to hear Kert, it was good uncovering the beast again and having a look at the coolness of your K5!

Awesome Kert:waytogo::waytogo:
Thanks Eric. Its certainly been a while. Say maybe just over a year.:doah:

Mo piturs:thumb:
I'll snap some when I get something photo worthy. Maybe a shot of the CB placement and the fan shroud when I get that finished up.

It was good to look at it again. Hope to have it put together for some snow wheelin' this winter. Trying to figure out the best method for jamming a heat vent hose in my coveralls.:D

Carhart used to have a full body suit that had electric heat built in. They took some d batteries. My buddy used to have one from his dad, it was pretty cool!!

Those suits sound cool. Might have to look into those as well.

Basically a heater blanket inside a suit. That or duct tape and flex pipe from your heater to your suit lol

Just get a little fan and some ducting and blow the air right of the radiator into the cab.

Oh and dress warm I have wheeled Horton in the winter time, its not too bad

Can't be much colder than a snowmobile right? I have one of those Mojave heaters or whatever it is called. Plan is to install that somewhere and get some ducting hooked up to that. Helmets do a nice job of keeping the face warm...:haha:

Some of the police supply stores like Gall's sell a thing that looks like a hose from a small shop vac that sits on the vent in the dash and you hook the other end on your clothes below your neck to blow the air con down your shirt to keep you cool.

No reason the same couldn't work for heat.

Seems like it would be cheaper & easier to zip up your coveralls real tight and eat more beans. :dunno: :D
