Blazer is really done. Last pictures while she is still mine.

Do we have to hit both #'s or can we win with one if no one else is close.

Oh yeah Greg $1.99:D

"I don't have to guess but you guys can and I'll jump it up one more. $50 gift certificate for the correct guess must be within 5 HP and 5 ft. LBS torque at the wheels to win. 1 guess each only or you're DQ'd!!:haha: "

Back home from the dyno session. For those that asked it is a Dynojet.

Uploading video now. That might help some of you make your guess and if you already have feel free to go back and second guess yourself if you like. I'll let this go for a day or so.

so I'm guessing the tires were smoking the drum? How did the tuning work out?

K I changed mine to reflect dynojet numbers

For the record, really thrilled with the way things went. The high idle swing has been straightened out I believe. Currently the IAC motor is wired for the new style and it is the old style motor. The pin out is exactly the opposite from one to the other so when the ECU tried to close the IAC motor to bring rpm's down it actually opened it driving them up and the chase was on.

The Base Fuel table was pretty far off. Keith, don't know if you remember it or not but you were standing next to me at the bash when we pulled a plug to read it on the trailer it was bone white, indicating lean condition. That was mostly the IAC. When the ECU and the IAC would hit a spot they both liked it ended up rich so we were sort of chasing both ends of the spectrum. At least that is how I understand things.

At any rate, the guy running the show got things in tune pretty quickly and then did 6-7 pulls just to dial things in a little closer, little more timing, little less and so forth. Ended up wittling it down till it wasn't leaving any HP on the table.

Video coming up shortly.

Might be kinda tough to get within 5 on each number so we'll just go with the closest guess. I want to be able to give it to somebody. That's not to say there isn't some close ones already.

Wait, you have something on your hood? I wanted a t/a eagle or fall guy eagle but marty said that would be gay, yet you have something.

it wont play for me dammit... damn adobe devils... gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

seems like he wasn't on the throttle long enough...do you know what rpm he was at when he mashed it?
sounded like a quick accel though.

4700 rpm was as high as he went. Fuel cut out is set at 4900 and he doesn't like bouncing on the rev limiter.

Basically he was looking for a peak in both the HP numbers and torque numbers. In between pulls he change this a little or that a little and then see wether or not the engine liked it.

holy focktickle....thats looking hugely different!!!!

I say you get 385hp and 420 tq at the wheels.

I'd say I got this then.......
