When I bombed the driveshaft at Chinamans and drove home on the front, had .019” clearance afterwards.

Are you going to finally put a big boy axle in there?

How many sets of gears has your big boy axle been through?:D

Nope. Wheel it until the body falls off.

The big boy axles are for another, probably my last, build.

I'm thinking it might have started with this, all the pinion preload was gone (and then some) and I think it's because this got longer as it twisted. Will need to measure it up to be sure.

Just like the last one, not 100% sure this even happened at Blazer Bash, didn't notice any problems just popped the cover to check for stuff like this.

8 cyl, 40s and turbos are not required for meth mouth. This is from 37s, 6 cyl and gearing, found at BB17 but no idea when it actually happened.

    2. One on a low pinion with the Blazer, LS, doubler on 42s and one on a high pinion in the S-10 on 37s.

I do really think it helped keep this one together long enough to fix at home!

I too had a magnet and honestly, if M4O didn't have the gears and everything to fix it right, I would have cleaned it out a bit and ran the rest of the week on that ring and pinion, it's not like I was going to make it worse...
