Blazerbash 2020 carnage thread

When I bombed the driveshaft at Chinamans and drove home on the front, had .019” clearance afterwards.
 
I'm thinking it might have started with this, all the pinion preload was gone (and then some) and I think it's because this got longer as it twisted. Will need to measure it up to be sure.

Just like the last one, not 100% sure this even happened at Blazer Bash, didn't notice any problems just popped the cover to check for stuff like this.

So for diffs, LS + turbo = meth mouth. Good to know

8 cyl, 40s and turbos are not required for meth mouth. This is from 37s, 6 cyl and gearing, found at BB17 but no idea when it actually happened.

I do really think it helped keep this one together long enough to fix at home!
I too had a magnet and honestly, if M4O didn't have the gears and everything to fix it right, I would have cleaned it out a bit and ran the rest of the week on that ring and pinion, it's not like I was going to make it worse...
