Blazer's 68 Nova "Stephanie"

Better than new holes as long as the tire doesn't find it.

Whatcha doing with the vent line on the tank?

Don't know yet, I have seen some interesting designs that people have done, not sure yet what I am doing. Still have to get a new filler neck also so a bunch still up in the air.

Spent a bit of time on her today.

Adjusted my rocker arms on the drivers side, a number of years ago I had pulled the head to measure the bore to make sure it was a 307 never go the rockers adjusted right.

Did some timing and carb tuning, runs a lot better now.

Maybe going to put the shifter in tomorrow may work on Twink instead not sure yet.

Do need to put some more fuel in the tank though, it is sucking a bit of air already.

Made a shifter mount for my shifter. Rained a bit much for my liking so did not get the shifter in but the mount is in.

Ended up welding some flat stock over the tunnel and welding the mount to the flat stock. Worked out rather well.

Check out the date on the warranty information on the shifter think I have had it for awhile :smile1:

Did some work on it tonight, well got it running again and the front float bowl decided to not shut the fuel of when it got full so had to fix that. Put a new fuel cell lid on a few weeks ago so the fuel will now not evaporate out of the tank.

Dash lights are not working so need to figure out that. Course the dash is shot so need to decide on weather or not to even keep it. have a full set of Auto Meter gauges if I want to go that route.

Fuel pump is being weird it is pumping air back through the fuel line and burping in the tank. Not sure how or why it is doing it but it is.

I wonder if the pump is relieving the pressure back to the tank. No return line, correct?

Not sure but it seemed to have fixed it self for now.

Took it off the jack stands, drove it down the street and back. Put it in the back yard on the pad, the race motor is back there so needed to go back there anyway. It does run and move and stops motor runs like crap though.

Figured I would get the engine in next, fuel pump and other said things going to go in also. Have to get a converter before the motor goes in though.

I have also made some decisions about what she is getting done to her. So going to fix the rust in the floor. Fix the rust in he trunk. Going to basically build a real fast street car. So I can still drive it on the streets but yet be really fast. Going to put in mini tubs do some suspension work on the rear. Going to get a 12 point cage and going to try and make it as hidden as possible. Eventually after the 350 has done its dues, going to do a 5.3 with twins or 8.1 with twins.
