Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

ah, now I see the man door on the front. I thought the one in the back was the only one, which prompted the question.

Structural engineering question. Do you think the 2 by 4's that are on the bottom that go from truss to truss have anything to do with the strength of the structure ? I only want to take the ones on the last truss so moving on the mezzanine will be easier.

Nope. Pull them. No big deal on that build.
Sorry for contradicting but they are needed.
If you want to relocate some to have a middle section higher, you'll be fine but you need to have some to prevent lateral movement.

Those are in for stabilization during construction. Once the roofing a especially the siding goes on, they are no longer needed. We have pulled them many times on different types of structures with no issues. If anything, move them up on the down ties on the trusses. To get the head room.

When the trusses have heavy weight on the top, the bottom will try and flex sideways. Or bow sort of, because it's the path of least resistance. Allowing the top to sag further.
Those longitudinal braces prevent that from happening. You can get away with taking one section out probably. But I wouldn't take them all.

Exactly

You gonna spray foam that thing or any kind of insulation so it's not a big oven in summer and cold as shit in the winter?
