Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

Well plans change so I thought that I would update my original build thread

New plan the tan Suburban is going to be built have some pictures from work already started.

The plan is 56's in the front did the bushing two days ago about 5 min a bushing

63's in the back don't need new bushings cuz they are new

ORD crossmember, crossover steering, shackels and a bunch of other stuff

DIY brake mounts, shock tabs,
 
Kieth, come over and see how mine looks, the suspension is done, and it's exactly what you said your doing. I just need to swap in a few bolts in the shocks and cut down the heim joint spacers, and then get a shorter bolt and that will be it. Then I have to start on the engine/ propane stuff. fun, fun!:rolleyes:
 
I think I may do the 63 rears also

How do they work with the extra weight of the suburban though?

I think I'm going to mount them under the frame, the flex should be insane
