Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

Man I'm going to have to change the name of this thread to the Osmond dating thread instead of my build thread. Marie is pretty hot and I did have a crush on her as a kid

OK so back on topic what color should I paint my axles and stuff ? My brother says black cuz they will hide the dirt easier Im leaning toward something like tan to match the truck. I want subtle but cool and some thing that is cheap to buy.

Back on topic;

I attached my furd shock brackets, and got the shocks bolted up, but, I still think that even with these 34 inch long shocks, I'm going to have to take them off before any serious wheeling. That rear shackle flip and switch has some serious movement to it.
the rear shocks are in boarded, and I had to cut a couple of access holes in the floor, for the brackets and shocks.

Hey this is my build thread :waytogo:, but I will have to come look at it

Do like a tan diff with black cover and black steering ? or other way

No!:( The 21st is the big 15 anniversary, so I got told nope. plus I got all these weird military obligations now, which is really eating up the truck fixin time.:(

Want me to talk to her for you :D you can ride down with me should have the room and you can be back by the 21st well maybe the 22nd if you come with me

Not sure it still runs now hopefully should have it done by the end of Aug then have a few weeks to make sure it all works

Yes please, talk to her. She can chew your ass instead of mine. I really want to have the Blazer up and running before Sept. but there are a lot of things going on right now, with the Blazer at the bottom pf the list:rolleyes:.

Ok let me see what I can do :D

Turns out I'm not going to SLC to see the Osmonds I guess they double printed the free tickets so if you ordered 4 you got 8, which was us, so there are going to be like 20,000 people with out seats :eek1: :o not my idea of fun. I have no idea how they are going to fix it or if they can so I would rather stay away and not deal with it. :(

Well spent most of the day working on the truck
I learned something new too if you bolt on a suspention brackets its not strong enough you have to weld it too, or at least thats what the PO thought.

Got the front end out and the front springs, the sway bar and the front spring mounts off have to go by some bolts and put it back together Monday

I have to move the new front end over to where the Burb is and then the engine hoist and then hook up the hoist so I can swap the motor mounts and do the engine cradle thing should be fun cutting it out with the fuel lines so close

Can you do me a favor and measure your d60 steering arm?

Do these dimensions look right?

Also could you give me the x dimension
