I like mud when I'm in it, but regret the decision immediately after it stops flying.
I used to like mud until I lost an alternator on the way back home from a mud run and a a couple of days later pieces of my clutch pressure plate started falling off.
That was the last time I saw mud with my vehicles.
Also 6 months later when you're working on the truck and a pound of dried up mud falls in your face.
power washer helps a lot with that.
I've also done the sprinkler under the truck in the yard trick.

Levi shirley promotes that, but still ends up cleaning everything off with power washer. Not letting the mud completely dry is the key to easy cleanup. That being said, I hate mud.

Eastbound and Down
Take a bottle of dawn dish soap, mix with about a gallon or 2 of water with it.
Soap up the truck really well. Let it dry.
Then go mudding.
Once your done you start spraying it down, it gets the soap activated and let's the mud just slide off. It works like a charm every time.

So steering box looseness, that was my brace.........

Steering box brace fixed. Gussett welded, frame welded along the crack. So we will see how long it lasts.
Welded the back side of the gusset so it should hold better. Or at least rip the frame next......
