Been following this thing around. Happy i finally ended up with it. Built years ago and was labeled the blazurban. I may end up calling it sublazer. Got a 14 bolt steer front and an LS 5.3 I've gathered for it later on.

That is a sweet ass ride! Love the look. I always wondered about a suburban with a blazer top done nicely.
How's that work with the full roof rack? You gotta pull it to remove the blazer top?

Yes that's the only thing i want to change and do different. I would like to leave the roof rack when running the soft top but the roof rack and all comes off with the top

I've seen brackets that mount to the bed rail and angle down and then give you a place to mount uprights for the roof rack. I wanna say the guy at Softopper knew of them but were only for certain vehicles. The one I saw was on a Toyota but you should be able to reverse engineer some for the blurban. I would reach out to Softopper and see.
