anyone ever go "cj7" on a blazer? stretch and graft the back half of a suburban onto a k5?

Every so often I see someone asking if barn doors can be put on a Blazer. Then I stumbled upon this pic and can honestly say that yes it can be done.

I loved the old suburban i drove with barn doors. don't think i could get over the goofiness now that I've seen a K5. nevermind / bad idea.

Interesting take, just saw for sale. Top of barn doors on back of sub cab, and bottom of barn doors for bed.

i dunn wanna log in to face tube to see that add, but i think maybe the hard cut lines and the angles they chose make for some goofiness?
maybe would have chosen a larger window for the back of the cab, but its an interesting avalanche type concept.

Yes , they work but sometimes get annoying on the highway

had my c2-c7 fused in 2020. Stayed stiff and sore until my epic road trip last Jan.
The ride out and back was so rough it knocked the sore out of me!
Get some stiffness and aches, but overall doing o.k.
My arms work again yay!

fwiw, my nurses were great. They went out of their way to reassure me it was going to be fine. I must have appeared nervous about it.

Front. I'm home but in a lot of pain, can't hardly swallow

My throat was sore for a week or so. Wonder if the doc stuck more than a breathing tube in there lol
