With folding the rear bench flat there is another sleeping area right there.

True, but I’m leaning more towards bucket seats in the second row so that it would be easier to get to the back instead of crawling over a seat. It’s been 30+ years since I was sporting my lean/mean boot camp physique, not capable of those types of gymnastics anymore. Haha.

I was thinking keep one side in and removing the other side for the dog to ride/lay. That would allow easy access to the back and for loading stuff.

Yeah. Another thought is leaving the smaller passenger side seat in and mounting a fridge/freezer on the drivers side for more food storage.
