G80, you can pull your diff cover and find out easily enough if the sticker is missing or something.

Oh, I forgot...you will get stared at driving on the street. Most people have never heard of/seen boggers. They're loud too which attracts atten. I run my dodge diesel with no muffler. Between that and the boggers, people would jump and stare when i rolled by :D

Hehe, I use a diesel to tow my K5 with 39.5" boggers...if only I could replicate the tire whine on the diesel.

I once passed a guy with a K5 with 44" boggers on the freeway in Sacramento area....daggum, they was loud!

Could you just record the bogger roar and loop it on a big stereo ? :haha:

Wow!!!!

http://www.intercotire.com/site28.php

After studying the official website, the 33x10.50-16 boggers have a higher PSI, ply, and load rating than its wider brethren... I wonder what load range my heavy turd requires?? The site says that the 12.5 and 14 are the same diameter :haha: ... so this thread was kinda stupid... But now I am wondering if I should go with the 10.50 because of my heavy suburban..

So how much weight rating do I need for my k20 Burban? What is more tread, a higher number/32 or a lowernumber/32?????

Look at the door tag, figure out what the pig weighs. Tread depth is expressed as a fraction of an inch. The higher the number, the more depth.

33x14.00-16LT
6 PLIES = LR C

25/32 = ALMOST 1" TREAD DEPTH

2240 X 4 = 8,960 LBS - SHOULD BE PLENTY FER YER BURB.

theres 2 ways to do it... tall skinny tires to get the the bottom or tall wide tires to stay on top. either way the taller the better. I say put a 4" lift on her and cut to fit 35, 36, or 37's...

33's might win some mud races but they sure as helll won't win mud bogs.

Since this thing is 90% dd and weekend warrior put some tsl radials on there...it will do almost as good as the boggers in mud and your tires will last twice as long.

You need gears tho for sure if your gonna mud race. 4.88's with 37's or 4.56(no OD) with 35's.

I plan on doing the same as you when i get 36x12.50 tsl's. I want the thing to win races, be capable on the trail, and get me from point a to b without killin tires and making it a pig on the road.

The point is its an evolution. You want 33's now but a year later 33's will look tiny. then you'll go 35's until they start to shrink.... When my rig rolled up on the tow truck sittin on 35's i couldn't beleive how big it was... now i want 36 or 37's and a couple more inches of lift.

i ran some ground hawgs about 33x12 then was given some skinny onesabout 33x9. and to tell the truth there wasnt much differnce in mud but WOW was the skinnys the e-ticket in the snow. now as far as boggers go they are awesome ( i havent run them but seen them on friends rides) but ill warn you of this, realy consiter the power your sub has. i say this cuz all the people i have seen throw boggers on a old truck with a old engine have suffered from the no spin syndrome. seams boggers just bite too hard for old stock engines. now the guys that have a fresh engine (how often you see someone put a stock rebuilt engine in?) usualy have some power upgrades and do great with boggers. just my 2 cents and a friendly warning. i would say to try for taller skinnys for the simple fact skinnys are easier to clear. i ran 33x9.50x15 on a stock unlifted truck and never rubbed with that in mind if you could find a 35x10 with your 4" you wouldnt even need to trim much.
also they give the look of a heavier truck. ( i.e. make a half ton loot more like a 3/4t) i belive you could run some radial TSL's in a 35x12.50 with a 4" and mild trimed fenders. good luck

it's actually 90% warroir, 10% runs on the pavement between trails and muddy places..... The reason I want 33's is because I fear that my tired old turd won't spin big meats. if its sluggish, I could always drop gears or try to build some power... I wish I could borrow someone's boggers for 1 day and see if it had the power to clean them :doah: ...... I hope boggers aren't a mistake, but they look so awsome for mud, and that's basically all I will be playing in

Get some more power or better gears and you won't have a problem... 4 lo should be able to spin em pretty damn good even with the stock turd but if you want to mud in 4hi you need some gears, more power, or different tires.

Sorry to get ot here ,,but , i looked through those pics,,,that is a pretty insane jump man :D :saweet:
