BWAHAHAHA I got to drive it tonight..:D

still need to tidy it up but now im happy

now i have to choose between the dunes or florance next weekend:dunno:

Florence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I hope to make it, it's gonna be tight getting some stuff done. I might end up riding shotgun with somebody if I don't finish.

EDIT: you can do the dunes the weekend after :D

I dont have a stak yet, so my gear reduction consist of a t-350-and 205 and 4.56 gears with 42's..

with the stak it will be sweet, untill then..:doah:I may be able to order one in the next week or two but I have some other projects ahead of a transfercase.

thats why im leaning towards the dunes other wise Ill stay on easy trails till its geared with a t-case

ok, last night I finally got the front locker installed.

I'm a happy camper now:D

took it out satuday night, all systems are go but I made a 1/4" mistake and it sheered both coilover shafts in a instant:eek1:

I left to much material at the top of the tab on the lower coilover mount on the axle, when I got it flexed up it bound and took out both shafts at the same time..:( lesson learned. ill post the other pics when I get the right card reader..

the rock crawler does great in everything but the rock crawling part:doah:

How are you driving it without the coilovers (assuming you're using the coilovers as your springs)?

Do you plan on coming to Blazer Bash this year?

well I hit the gas when I need to move and the brakes when I need to stop, the steering wheel takes care of the turning:p:

it just sits on the axle and bumpstops, driveshaft has plenty of room and is fine, I had set it up to still drive if I lost a coilover and to be able to fully bottom out with out killing anything such as links, brakes, fuel tank etc.

as for blazer bash I plan to show up with the white truck and the buggy..if one is down I can still play :)

I figured, good design on your part to make sure it can limp off the trail even with a failure like that.

I'm sure you'll have your coilover situation fixed by then, there's basically limitless fun to be had in Moab (for any capability rig) :D

WOW! Did that happen at the shop or out at Sycamore?

Damn that really sucks though, all this time to get it done and now it goes bang! Good thinking on setting it up to prevent driveline carnage too.

ome where out on a trail at sycamore..glad I took it there to find this out rather than on a trail in florance!
