build thread Update: 5/27 Blazen Bumper on with B52's 42's all on

got the rear tires on and got the blazen offroad bumper on with the B52's. i had to redrill the mounting holes but if i didnt have the b52's in the farthest forward position i dont think i would have needed to redill the holes. the front was a little taller than the rear, but the added weight of the bumper made it so that the front and rear are the same height now:D. anyways here are a couple pics. im gona drill more holes for the bumper and build an addition cross-member to connect the mounts on both sides on the frame, but i just wanted to mount it up for now.

Was it hard for you to get the bumper on?
Mine was a pain...couldnt hold it AND line up the holes.
120 # bumper plus a winch hanging out there Im sure your front went down.

no winch on yet, but i do plan to get one eventually. the bumper went on pretty easy, me and a buddy got it on the frame, marked the holes and then took it down and drilled them. im probably going to drill 4-6 more holes to add more strength to the bumper mounts and build a x-member like i mentioned.

my buddy with the welder is back home so im plannin to bring the truck over there tomorrow to get my shock towers welded in and hopefully get the hydro-assist mounts welded up

The truck is lookin good, those hummer wheels look sexy.:D I think the wheels make the truck look tough. When you take the cap off it will even the truck out.

thanks, yea i love the look of the 12bolt h1's versus the 8bolts that most people are running. i still gatta get a set of aftermarket inserts to make them capable to air down since from all the research ive done on pirate you cant use the stock runflats with the 42" iroks because of the larger thickness of the bead that the tire has.
