Building Blazer still

I posting some pic's but most of them are on the camera my wife took with videos so I will post them later afer we get them dowloaded on the computer. 1st Pic is on Chewing Hill in Pritchett Canyon. I was told it is really bad this year compared to past years. I was one of three that did not need to use a winch in the Canyon. 2nd & 3rd are at the end of Pritchett Canyon. 4th is on Cliff Hanger Trail and 5th is we made 6 days of wheeling and drove home without any major breakage! There was 2 obstacales I could not do because my balls shrunk! The big Hot Tub & the Rock Pile, I tried them but my brain said give it gas and the message got lost somwhere by my nutz before it got to my right foot!:dunno:

The Blazer worked great! Flexed like crazy. I need to strenghten the frame a lot more & get the front winch set up to suck the front down. For those wondering the Pit Bull Rockers worked really well, very very happy with them. I ran 5 psi and they hooked up great! I will get Pictures & Videos posted as soon as the wife gets them downloaded, we have a bunch of video! I made it up the buggy line on Rocker Knocker, straight up! That was COOL!!

Very nice. Gotta love Moab and it looks like you guys had a great time.

Glad the truck worked. First runs can be sketchy. But when they are built right the first time, it is just fun.

Just read your whole thread, Love the rig it is exactly what i wish my rig was. Great Motivation for me

Thanks guy's, it was a blast & I can't wait till Blazer Bash now to meet people. I have a bunch of video's from the May trip on YouTube now. Here is a link to Hells Gate then just hit on my name Mike Jaskolski and you should get the rest of the video's. If that doesn't work I need someone to help me. Thanks:waytogo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqKWzcN50c8

Great stuff! Glad to hear the Rockers worked well. I'm close to talking myself into a set. Too bad the K5 they'll sit under isn't gonna be half as sick as yours, but hey, I can live vicariously through you can't I?

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!

Thanks spongeidy, now I just need to become a better driver! That was the first time out so I was way careful and did not know how it was going to do or act. I have no excuses now, it works pretty dam good!:woot:I had some frame issues that need to be beefed up a bunch but it did good. I just ordered a Premier Power Welder so I can do some fixes on the trail if they, I mean when they happen again.:waytogo:
Thanks AaronJen, were you guy's able to see the videos? I need to give it some gas at times!

Videos worked for me, at least on my iPhone (gotta get an iPad. This is torture, but better than my laptop). You know where the gas is for next time. For a shakedown run, easy is the way. Rig is awesome man.

What were the frame issues? I plated the frame anywhere I attached something to it. Except one. It cracked the frame.

Thanks Guys, I did not beef up or plate the steering box area and it started to give way then the Trac Bar started to rip the frame. the Welds held good but the frame started to fail. In the back on the bottom Links the frame started to bend. I am going to box the frame, plate it and put some cross members in to strenghten it up. The 44" tires worked great but did not help this at all. I figure another 150lbs of steel and the problem is solved!:haha:I guess I found the weak spot for now!

Yep. Doubling up is mandatory. Everywhere. The stock frame is not designed for what links and articulation do to it.
