Building the Ultimate M1008 *Beadlocked 42's w/ pic's**

That is the vent line. I will replace them both after the big stuff is all said and done. The box will unfortunately still be on for Moab, but will come off shortly afterwards:)

Hopefully not during the Bash...:haha:

Better a stretched vent line than a stretched brakeline.

I still want to know if your friend could make more of thoes spring mount flex things

Nonsense. You're going to be fine, the truck is going to be great, and you're gonna run trails with us in the SheetMetal Gang. :D I've been told such is the power of positive thinking, or something like that...

After all that, you can tear it into pieces again :o

I am totally stressing, but when I hit that beautiful canyon road leading into Moab I will be at total peace! And yes I am looking forward to hangin with the sheetmetal gang :)

Fornt driveline done tonight....:D

2 1/2" receiver square tubing with 2" inside. I got about 12" of slip......should be enough:D

$40 investment in steel:p: I guess we will see how it does. We plug welded along with the welds at the seams.

Damn server keeps messing up. It won't let me load pic's WTF!!!!!! I will try again tomorrow:(

Not yet, but I will at least have u-joints to replace if need be. The rear driveline has me worried as it is so long and vulnerable. I need to get a spare fo sho on the rear.

Inner fender wells removed, winch mounted!:D , and 12V conversion done! Now I just need to fix this starter problem I have (in another post) and weld my shock towers on and I can take her for a test run. I also have all new e brake lines on order through Napa that should be in this week that I need to hook up. Other than that it will be just a few button up things to take care of:o
Here are some pic's since the server has gone down I have not been able to post them!

It's nice to see a longbed get modified, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching this build. Nice work! :saweet:

Thanks man! I have decided to keep the bed, but I am going to bob and taper it. Less over hang in the rear will be a good thing for this rig. Now keeping the rear driveline from bending in half everytime I wheel will be a chore:(

what a beauty

Nice to see someone putting so much love into their long bed! Gotta love that frame! Have fun in utah, Im gonna try to be there with my k30 next year. I need to rebuild the entire driveline in order to stop the 23 years of tranny and t-case leaks that have developed. See you in nellis in december!
