any word from your friend on the cool 14b rotating spring plates? :)

He said I have the only ones he made and he too busy right now to build them for sale. I believe he had the one ton perches since he got his drivetrain from and M1008.......

thats cool. hopefully he'll eventually have time :D

looks like you're running the WFO HD reverse hi-steer arms. i know you currently can run it cuz the oil pan, but are you satisfied with the quality of the arms? looking to go reverse hi-steer when i do the 52 swap and these were up on my list.

Yes, the product quality is great along with the price. One thing to look into if you already have a x over arm your draglink will need to be shortened if you run TRE, the dragling hole is made for a DRE. I found this out the hard way.....

Took her out for a test drive today. She worked flawlessly! Sorry no pic's, when I went to take a pic I realized the memory card was still at home :doah:

Anyways, now I just need to install the new e brake lines and pack up:)

See you guys in Moab:saweet:

Dirk built me a rear shaft at BB '03 after I pretzled one on Pritchett. He started with 3" drill stem which has a wall thickness of .375" or more. He removed some material from the entire thing, IIRC it was .200" wall for the majority, and about .250" wall at the ends when he was done. It was damn heavy, and pretty much indestructable. It's under ColbySteven's truck now.

Good luck Stallion, awesome story.:waytogo:

Thanks for the killer roll cage from your old Blazer. I am going to hack the front perch and relocate them next weekend. And finished rebuilding my 205 today after that 11 hr round trip lol.

The 2pc rear driveshaft like your buddy Dean has on that Burb is a pretty sweet setup for keeping it off the rocks. It probably isn't cheap but it is a good option. Did you build a square driveline for the rear also? If you can build a square that won't vibrate like a beast it would be a good option for your truck.

Andrew (77ChevyK10) built square driveshafts front and rear in his shortbed truggy project that he drove at 70mph on the highway. It had some vibs butt nothing terrible. He is also a machinist though so he has the ability to make things to better tolerances the most people.

Looks like :hack: time:D

I have plans for a killer flat bed that my Father In Law is going to help me build at his shop. Yes It needs some :hack: :grind: in the front for sure. I am thinking of dropping down the 4" bump stops to keep the tires in check. With the 52's it's all about the droop.

Now I need hydro, flat bed, some gearing, roll cage and my other PRP seat and it could be almost done:haha:

It's never done:p: :o

Glad to hear someone else echo this. I'm going to drop my bumpstops when I put 52s in the front. Enough so they'll just go flat.

Any updated pics? How do you like everything? Did you make new bumpstops? How is the flex with the limited uptravel? Have you used the winch yet?

I haven't done anything lately except trim the fenders and fix the glow plug relay solenoid. All my extra funds have been going towards my kids Christmas:wink1:

I did flex it out and it was fine as long as I didn't turn the wheels.....lol. The rears came right to the top of the fenders where I cut them.

I used the winch in Moab and it worked like a Champ! I pulled a 3/4 ton longbed on 38's up that last waterfall on the Gold Bar Rim trail:D

Me and a few friends of mine are going to the Hammers for the Tin Benders thang at the end of April, so my goal is to have all done by then........:D

Oh ya just remembered. I am working on a Dodge NP241 with a rear fixed yoke to go into the beast. Read up on it here.......http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192912

That's what I did. It worked great and it helps keep the 44's in check. I'm lacking some droop due to only having 13" shocks and using the stock location for the shackle with ORD's extended shackles with a modified stock driveshaft. It still maxes out the shocks though.
