Bumper center

Hurt the trans pretty bad. Broken low/reverse roller clutch, smoked most of the clutches, fractured sun gear shell. Trans was on its way out anyway. He offered $100 bucks or the winch. Trans was on its way out anyhow. Had one rebuilt at home ready to go in.

I guess Christmas came early for you!! Want to sell it? I need a big winch for my burb!!! Shipping to 93306? Just kidding, congrats! One of kerts badazz bumper centers will be perfect for your rig!!

I had Kert Build me one and it rocks!! I had a 2" bodylift built into mine as well as 2 sets of holes for the B52 bracket part . But otherwise Identical to Nvenuf's

Hey Kert I'm interested in one for a 67-72 as well but that will be next fall gotta finish my current projects which will involve a bunch of DIY4X products

Can you shoot me a price on one of these setup for a '73 longbed with the B52's, and the mount for a 16K Warn shipped to 85533? Got a smoking deal on that Warn. Free for dragging someone out of the river. No cable but that is the cheap part.

By the way, quit making so much sweet stuff.:D Wife unit took my credit card til after the first of the year.:doah:Then i get to order a whole lot of stuff from you.

I'll have to see if we can stuff a 16k in the frame.

how much for one of these for use with standard spring mount?! sorry to bring back a month old thread, but i like it.

Can you price one like this also?, HEAVY shackle mounts, stinger for a 18.5K Warn winch? I got two of these cheap and gonna put one on the cucv. Truck is an 84 pickup.

I love it on there. Big Nasty winch. Already pulled my tractor out using it. 24v winches are no joke. Had to chain my rear bumper to a tree to do it. My cucv just didn't have the ass by itself, go figure.

Yep, that'll work.

Kert,

I hate being a pain as I know yo uare rather busy, but did you come up with anything yet. I hope this will work as it will kill to birds with one stone for me. Found out front spring hangers are starting to egg out.

Pretty certain I can make it work.

Can you give me a shout at the shop?

Hey Kert, I talked to you and ordered a bumper center a couple hrs ago.

So, I cannot get the B52 bumper center with stock length springs right?
I wish I could so I could add some strength by using your spring hangers and getting rid of mine. Oh well.

Here is a pic of the front. There should be plenty of room due to the 2" body lift.

The winch is a Smitybuilt XRC12.

I'm pretty sure you can... B-52's can run stock springs in the back hole.. i have TC ez-rides for mine... and the b-52 bumper center starts with that....

i giggle every time i think about the fact my bumper is held on with 22 bolts... :haha:

Width is the issue. With a stock length lift spring, usually a 2.5" wide spring. You can trim down the bushings. With a stock length non lift spring you're stuck with 3" wide spring and then .25" thick shoulders. 3.5" wide doesn't fit in the hanger.

We can make them wider but its all in one direction so it'd toe the springs out slightly.

Since his truck has aftermarket lift springs, he should be fine.

They are 8" TC EZRides. If thats the case, I want the B-52. Thanks for the input fellas!!

OK, for whatever reason I was on the stock length all around stock spring. My bad.

We can make that change, I should probably call you and just go over everything once more to be sure we're on the same page.
