I know ORD leaf springs are built based on the vehicle they are going on, what would be the pros and cons on this (buying someone else's setup)?

If you have a similar enough setup you should be fine
That's the thing, I dont. 2 completely different set ups as far as trans, bumper, tires ( only slightly different). I found a good deal I really don't want to pass up but I dont wanna get something that in the end won't work for me because of the differences in weight. If that makes sense.

call ord and ask them . if you know who's springs they were ordered under . then your info . maybe they can cross it and see if its a match up .

They have offered to do it for me in the recent past. You need you truck weight and the bias. Then call them with the details. I’d probably order something for their kindness.

Don't worry about that lol, I'll be ordering from them for as long as I own my k5...which I hope is forever.

I'd say if the engine and bumper are about the same, you're good enough to try them if the price is good.
Mine were for someone else, no bumper and small block. I'm running bumper, winch, and small block. They are ok but could use a little more tension. The price was good enough and I'll rock them till they turn flat (er).

Same engine (350 small block) until I swap I'm a 5.3 LS. I don't have a front bumper at the moment but he ran a TNA winch cradle and winch. I wanna run a diy4x abomb bumper and a winch. He had a 700r4/241 and I have a sm465/205. He ran 37 military tires and I've got 37 TrXus MT.

So the set up is a tiny bit similar. Idk. I feel like my truck will be heavier for some reason when it's all said and done.

I can tell you that you will not have a problem with these springs.
You are within a 100lbs at the axle if that.
But you can wait for a response from ORD

I'm hoping I can still clear my 37s (they actually measure 37.2 inches). He was running military 37s (I think they measure more to 36.5 or so).

Do it. I got used atlas springs from a member here and they are great. They’re taller than I wanted and pushed me to a bigger size tire than I originally wanted to go, but it was still worth it
