I get it on your build with what you had and the challenge of custom built axle .

I built a 60 for old project stubby years ago off 60f housing and all custom to fill it or hang on it . It wasnt cheep at all .

Plus if i do this project it will have a time limit for it to be done and roller like he is willing to sell me is a huge time saver .

Rust belt life and truck i be fine if no air brakes . But hook that trailer up = CDL-A . .

Hubs on ebay still 2k . . . Not worth it .

I found the full ford front local real clean with ford trans and t-case for 5k bucks .

But the other problem is you need a matched set of axles . Unless you wana do gears in a dana 80 . 4x4 got 5.13 only . Most of the 2wd trucks factory were 4.63 . And all 4 of my rears are 4.63 . Go price good gears and install kit for a dana 80 rear . I dont want 8lug hubs and 19.5 rims . I have some rims i want to run that are 5/10 lug . So thats the other part of my plan .

guy smoking crack with that axle. without the hubs it's just a 70. I doubt they have em still, but give quigley a call, back 5-6 years ago they had the 10 lug hubs.

I got a line on this deal here @ ck5 in this thread . And if i wanted to go crazy 1 other set with trans & tcase and front frame + cab 1 day turn and burn drive away .

Thats honestly what you should do. I now you are ramping up for work, but this seems to be a critical piece for your build. Dont think you’ll find what you want/need thats closer/cleaner/cheaper.

Not persay cleaner on closer set . Half miles but lived in rust belt whole life and plow truck . So cleaning up rust = not my flavor anymore in life . And its just axles and parts i dont need extra .
