Calling all Colorado residents...I've got questions!

I live just east of Colorado Springs. It's about 10-12 miles outside of the city limits. very quiet, tax rate is cheaper, neighbors aren't stacked on top of each other, no emissions unless you have a diesel, always a breeze, unobstructed view of the mountains. ...I'm never moving either.

What kind of muscle car do you have? I have an 80 Malibu w/BBC and a 67 Chevelle

Love both of those. I've got a 72 Skylark with a 471ci big block Buick. Got TA Performance heads, 11.25:1 comp, .636" cam, dynoed 611hp. Been running TH400's, but I'm getting tired of autos and am collecting parts to do a T56 6 speed a swap.

Sounds really close to the HP of my 454. When/if you get here don't be surprised if the 1/4 mile times aren't about 1 second slower...the altitude kills it

Yeah I know... maybe I'll drop the compression a few ticks and turbo it. Then I can control how much air it gets. Especially coming through the mountains.

Mine's setup and 10.4:1 so no issues. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet though...new build

Brent, nice meeting you and Courtney yesterday.
Had a good time driving around. Hope you guys can make it work.

It was great meeting you too. Thanks again for all the help and information. Hopefully next time we meet it will be on the way to a trail.

Without waxing too philosophical...my experience with moving to other locations is...it's not the place...it's the people you know...any place isn't crap without family or friends...try to make sure you have some of each wherever you go...

I can dig that, but all the family and friends in the world don't lower my taxes, reduce the humidity, free up my rights, etc. I have a few people that I think would also move, given a little kick in the pants.

Havn't seen anyone mention the best thing about Pueblo, SLOPPERS!

Grays Tavern's are my favourite. Havn't found anything close any place else I've been in Colorado.

Sloppers and Pueblo were featured on a food show a few years back, google it, lots of Pueblo info there too.

When I lived in the Springs I couldn't drive any where near Pueblo without going out of my way to get one.

Gray's has a damn good slopper. There's a place on the southside that serves a good slopper too, Sunset Inn, I think.

Pueblo is ok as far as living goes. The housing prices aren't bad in decent neighborhood's. The people in this town are complete oxygen thieves though. On a scale of 1-10, i'd give it a 4.5-5.

Frankies ok. Grays are better. Brent actually ate a slopper and I took him to King Chef her in the springs

I'm thinking a CK5 slopper taste test along the front range....or anyone else who makes them

are the burgers alone any good? or is the chili what's really good and just any cheeseburger will do floating in that chili?
