there are holes at the bottom of the hill that will swallow trucks on 52's with BBC's for grunt, you will get stuck unless you just play in the kiddie pool :D
I'll see you fellas there next year, not going to be able to make it this year.

Where is this at, location wise?

Heres a copy of the directions from their website.
From Rusk Tx.

Take Hwy 69 South about 9 miles South of Rusk turn right on County Road 2416 ( there is a white van with a black arrow marking this turn.) from there follow the signs

From Alto

Take Hwy 69 North 1.5 miles turn left on County Road 2416 ( white van marks this turn. ) follow the signs

Here's a link to mapquest showing directions and a map from san marcos.

http://www.mapquest.com/directions/...2v=&2n=&2pn=&2a=&2c=Rusk&2s=TX&2z=&panelbtn=2

It shows taking 35 to waco but it seems like it would be faster to take 45 out of round rock but I'm not sure yet.

I would love to go. and that gives me two months to get the blazer ready to go. it's almost there, so hopefully I can try to make it. if not, I guess I could always take the ol' stock stock Z71...ha ha.

Ya that is actualy close enough for me to drive to and i would like to meet some ck5er's. May be i can get my blazer inspected by then and be able to drive it out there.

I'd be down with going to that - I've never actually been to a real "wheeling" event. Sounds like a good weekend to go soak up a little sun and drink some beer.

Hey man, I drop kiddies at the pool, not play in the kiddie pool :D

I'll be there, just will have to watch since my lift and tires are getting pushed back till june. dam transmission:mad:
do you know what the qualification for the stock class are?

O and SpringCreekOffroad is having a Super Truck Shoot Out at the begging of June.

Hey JohnDeere,

No, I don't know anything. But if they follow any of the other rules, I can only compete for fun because of aluminum heads and no cage!

You're welcome to ride shot gun if you'd like.

I dont plan on entering the rodeo. I'm just going to wheel on the trails.

If yall's rides arent done I'm sure I can squeeze you in my truck or one of the other members may be able to as well.

I wanted to get the word out now so that y'all have plenty of time to get ready to go. I know I still have some work to do.

Lets make this a Texas version of Blazer Bash.

hey thanks guys. Yeah I was looking foward to getting my lift and 36 or 25 swampers in april but now ill have to wait. I'll try drivin the trails but 33inch higyway tires dont get you to far in mud. If I can get the money then ill try and get a set of the superswamper 33 ltb ill run every event but the logs and anything with big rocks, but thats along shot. If not ill be ridin with one of my wonderful CK5ers:D

Oh Manning I know that sometimes they set the class by the tire hight.
When i go to the spring creek events they do 33 and under is stock, 33.1 to 38.5 is outlaw, and 39 plus is super outlaw. But every place has there own rules. So hopefully if i do get some LTBs then ill be in the stock class.

I'm up at OU, but that's close enough to DFW. If I have a blazer by then, and maybe some mudders, count me in. Also a buddy of mine is thinking about getting a bronco (cheaper up here) and he would probably come if we can get away from campus.

The more the better y'all come on down.
