Hmm they are one on top of another for me. Let me look at it again though.

is anything out there more rock than mud? mud is fun, but considering i'm stock height and on 31s (at the moment) i'd hang up in a second. i plan to slap some 33s on there, soon, but that won't make much difference in hanging my axles in mudholes.

There are trails also. That sami in the pics above went all over the place out there without a problem so you should be fine.

Also I have add a leaves for the front for sale. I also have some 4 inch front springs for sale as well. Email me if you are interested.

My buddy was telling me that a lot of people take stock trucks out there and play.

I bet you'll be ok. Just watch the holes your going into. From what I hear, there are some deep holes that will swallow some big rigs, but there are other holes that are just fine.

This is going to be a great way for us to meet other ck5ers as well and have a good time.

well, i woud love to drive up there, and with a bunch of ck5ers it would be worth it. i would just have to save up for some gas money and stuff. i wil have to see what things are like then but right now its iffy. i gotta get mannys axles put in and then i shoud be ok with 1/2 tons w/456 and limited slips and 35 right? i just dont want to limp home with that far a drive.

I'll mark it on my calender and hope to make it, meet some new people and wheel the trails. No competition. 84 K5 Balzer 6.2L diesel th400 (built up) NP206, 33s now planning 35s
Killeen Ft Hood TX 4X4 Club chapter of Tx4WD.org
I'll see if a few other K5s will want to go.
We have been to Shilo as a group, lots of trails, lots of fun, alot of mud when we were there in Dec 06

wow this is great. It looks like we are going to have a good turn out. Is everyone going to camp or hotel.

Depending on what the wife says? :o

I am for camping, unless there are some really close motels that are cheap.

I plan on camping, they have water & electric hookups and showeres there

Well I have 50 acers about 45 mins. away so I might be able to let some people stay there but I'll have to run it by my dad.

I plan on camping at shiloh as well.

Manny is calling shiloh to get all the details about the campsites so we can try and stay as a group. I'm sure he will post up as soon as he finds out the info.

I will just sleep in my k5 or my truck which ever one i end up driving, hopefuly it will be my k5. I will probably just stay one night then drive home.

If anybody in the San Marcos, Austin, San Antonio areas want to meet up, we could caravan out there.
