Came factory in a 1990 CHevy 3/4 suburban with the 6.2 diesel and a th400? and will a NP 205 bolt right up? Thanks

Would likely be a 241, or maybe a 208, but I think 241's were 1990-91.

The 205 would hafta be a TH400 version, not all that common and quite desireable for use in Doublers. Driveshafts would likely be different, as would crossmembers.

89-91 were 241, 90-91 was VSS, no speedometer cable.

Only 205s that will bolt up are the '90-91's with VSS. Otherwise you lose your speed input to the speedometer, cruise, and ECM.

Dangit, I *knew* 90-91 had SOMETHING goofy ... forgot it was the VSS. 'Swhat I get for losing my '90 V2500 Burb in the divorce. :doah:
