I mentioned in two other post that were discussing the group purchase of Can-back tops that I would find out the particulars and post them. I talked with Brian at Can-Back and he said that manufacture of the Blazer version would begin in Jan with possible shipping in Feb. I don't know why it is going to take this long, maybe it is going to be upgraded/modified, or maybe he is busy building other model tops. He said that there would be an initial savings of 5% for the first five sold and more off for more the more sold. Those details would be decided closer to Jan though he did say 5% for the first five and mentioned 10% and 15% but didn't say how many would have to be sold for these savings. Like I said, more info in Jan. We would have to set up a time frame to order it and when ordering we would have to say what group we were with to get the discount. Also if there were some members who could have it delivered to one location he would cut those members a deal on the shipping which is another $125.00. Sound to me that if we got enough people to buy you could possibly get $180.00 off. I guess if we only get five people it would only save us about $60.00. Regardless of what the savings I am going to buy one anyway and just thought that if all of the people that expressed interest also bought one we could save some dough as a community. Plus it is after tax time. I have heard alot of interest but I know that things come up. Let me know.
