The girl at o'Reillys said the same thing. Had a 72 in back of the shop as a DD and was working on an 87.

The bearings on the buggy's alternator are all but gone. Made it back to the truck/trailer no problem after Metal Masher. Decided not to do Widow Maker after noticing the bad noise coming from the alternator.
I had a pretty extreme cupholder failure today on metal masher.
Front spring bushing left the chat.
Which led to too much movement on the driver's side.

From Zoo's Zoo on Saturday. A two wheel drive day. I had the wing windows open and heard a clunk.

Twinkie damage, busted off my zerk fitting. Going to have to link it kept me from getting over Rocker Knocker.
20 minutes into my drive this morning. At least it was cool to swap the pump out. Funny, I almost left last night.
I have to come clean on something:
Saturday on Pritchette I didn't strap the cooler down correctly after a beverage stop and it fell over behind the radiator, we proceeded to super heat the beverages and loose a few. We had to go on rationing for the afternoon due to low beverage availability within the buggy.
That was my carnage from the weekend and I feel much better about admitting my problems to the group.

I cracked the top on the blazer some more.
The ac quit working on the truck a half hour outta Moab , then a heater hose started to leak , and I backed into the mailbox when I got home. Not a bad week.

Just got home, the license plate on the trailer rental almost fell off and lost trailer brakes in flagstaff coming down the hil
Yep I did not want the ashman trophy.
We made it home with no further issues.
Looks like I get to buy a trailer tire too, they said I abused it when the other 3 are fine just one wore the edges and almost blew.
This wasn't my year at all, I didn't even wheel and my truck is in worse condition.
I unloaded it with no ramps, no exhaust, no power steering and tucked it away...
