I'm going to have to say that there was less massive damage and carnage this year that i can remember.
Trail issues that were resolved/vehicles that became non operational (That I know of)
Twinkie and the ign. module on Golden Spike
Chegro and it's ign. module on Golden Spike
Wally and his fuel pump on Golden Spike/Crack and Back
Scott/Mrk5 with a steering clamp loosening up
Brent with several waterpump type problems and then I think a broken transfer case on Sunday but made it to the trailer.
Chris Perry with a bad oil pump/pickup issue.
KTMoutfront with some unknown ign. issue. (Only 2 vehicles I know of that got put to bed early this year)
Sounded like the Sledge Hammer had some problems that were worked through
Anyone else? I have a hard time believing that's it but The only vehicles I was around with issues are noted above.
If this really is the case good job everyone, I'm optimistic that as a whole the BB attendees are getting things down better. I also heard of much fewer thrash fests happening this year which IMO is a direct impact on trail issues.
EDIT:
Everyone but Chris Peurkrey and KTM (these guys weren't on the trail when their issues happened) were able to make a trail repair and get moving again on the trail and complete the trail. Again that I know of.
