Cheapest way to cut steel!

Theres NO WAY you could cut up a truck faster then a torch with a saw all. That I would bet on. Not diggin at'cha Scott, just sayin. Hot knife or plasma is king for such a job.

It's a good thing he's not asking about cutting up a TRUCK, he asked about cutting up a K20 FRAME.

Yeah, I didn't read the full post, jus saw K20 and assumed he mnet the qhole truck. For the frame I would still use a torch or plasma :D

Keep in mind he also said "cheapest". The cost of acetylene i'm sure is more than a 3.00 blade for a sawzall.

I used the torch since it was already out and I was tired (lazy) at that point.

I always toast a blade every time I use my sawzall but I agree that it should only take 1 but mine would be toast by the end.

I also called a local recyclers (Wasatch steel) and they said as long as it's not recognizable as a vehicle no title is necessary and they are paying 50.00 a ton. Hopefully there's enough steel there to pay for my fuel.
