Chevy's in the wild

There are a few 1/2 ton long beds on the road here, I haven’t seen another square suburban driving in the 4 years we have been here.

And another truck fun fact:
GM used the same tailgate on their stepsides from 1955 all the way to 1987.
Hell of a run!

I remember when those stepsides were all the rage in the late 70s.
Jon on CHiPs had one on the show.
Chevy sold the shit out of them.

I always wondered how it would look with the late 50s rear fenders on it.
Anyone with photochop skills want to give it s try?
My favorite 70’s era famous K-10 step-side was the 77/78 one used in the movie “Hooper” - it just had a great look to it ( and not because they reversed the body for that driving backwards scene - although that was cool ! ).

I actually can't decide if I'd pick the ford or the Chevy if I was allowed to choose one:thinking:
