I don't know of any reason to keep or use a 3 speed.
4 or more!!

And I never liked the column shift manuals. Never had a one that wasn't worn out, either, so maybe that has something to do with my opinion.

My Dad has an OG 46 Merc with a flathead and 3 on the tree. It's a blast to drive.

I just always preferred a floor shifter, even though column shifters let ur sweetie sit next to ya!!
I plan on leaving my Dad's '39 on the floor, he already converted it and took the original column out.

I only like the column shifter for the iconic feel. Everywhere you go in this car someone will stop and talk about old memories in a similar car.

Buddy at work just sold his red w/ black stripes 70.
Had a 650hp 496 in it.

$42,000. Sold nearly as soon as he put it up.
