A friend of mine has done that to his burb in AZ. It is chopped, bobbed, & narrowed. It is pretty sweet.

Harley

That would be awesome i think. I love that escalade ext, H2 sut look. I've seen blazers like that before and they look great.

I was gonna do this but got into my extended cab build instead... now i kinda wish i had:rolleyes: here was a before and after i did on a stock size burb

Can't say im a big fan of the chopp and bobb on that burb. Looks good uncut.
without a lift, tires and a fender trim it doesnt look nearly as good...

There's someone on this 'board who's already done this....it's even his screen name! His 'Burb is sick. He needs to post up.

I like the idea. I would put a blazer hard top or soft top on it though so you can have the best of both world....

Nice looking burb by the way.

There someone who did it, i personally dont like it as much. A soft top of some sort would be in order though.

Yea there were two people on here that have them already. The thing I have noticed is that the vehicle color makes a big differance on the appearance to me. It would be a great mod for anyone that wants the removable top but needs 4 doors (I wonder why Centurion made the 4 door bronco but never a 4 door blazer? Didn't work on real trucks I guess!) but it would be way more trouble to me than it would be worth. But to each his own. Good luck.

I personally dont like the blazer top idea becouse it still has a big ass. if, I mean WHEN I break out the sawsall, I am cutting a lot off.

The tan az one is what I am after, but boatsided as well.:D

Oh, carp, just noticed that not all were bobbed ... some were Blazerified. Well, they're all fun to look at =))

If you are going to wheel it ! bob the ass end off because you will hang it up on something . Everyone is gonna have their way of doing the chop and bob . I didn't want to bob it and still use the factory tail light cause I knew I would just smash them up when wheeling in the rocks . I would have left the back all open but seeing how I live in the PNW and it rains alot I thought it best to weld it all in and have a small fixed window . I do have a 2003 ford truck rear tinted window with the power sliding middle window . I'm going to redo the back metal area so I can install the Ford rear slider . I still need to make a different spare tire mount for my 42" tsl and build my small roof rack . I used 1x1 box steel to build the frame between the rear seats and the bed and covered it with sheet metal .

personally, if you were gonna do it, i would either graft the back of a truck cab onto it, or section out a Blazer top. either way make the rear overhang the same length as on a Blazer. keeps some resemblance of a factory vehicle, and doesnt look near as awkward.
