Edit: I've been here 17 years of the 20, time sure has flown by.

Back when I first joined I was hauling parts all over the western half of the country to pay for trips to visit my daughter. Met 100s of other CK5ers in the process. Of course, back then I had to write phone numbers down on paper before the trip and call from payphones...

For you younger guys, a pay phone was used as a means of communication in the form of a phone that you could pay for by the minute. Often times they were located at or near the outside of a gas station or 7-11 etc. See picture below.

Been around here since about day 3 or 4. Brought 2 K5's from Az. for the Why To K5 run. Had perfect attendance to Blazer Bash up until 2005 when i started working in the oil patch. Some would argue it was a good thing that i quit going to BB as names were hurled in my direction...what was it...raffle whore? Lol. Anyways i may have faded out of every day life but i still stick my nose in her once a week if i can. Down to one 1990 Jimmy with a Chalet camper currently in the build process. Us old farts rather over land and sit and front of a fire or fish off grid than crawl narly boulders these days...
