Colby,Russel are you guys still planning on coming up for the trip??

OK so I don't know how I missed this thread.
I would love to go, and the wife and I were thinking of making a trip to AK for a while now, maybe now I have a goal.
Even if I have to take her and then drop her off at our friends up there and go wheeling by myself.
I could also take my big rig and a flat bed and haul probably 4 rigs from CA thru OR and WA, the only thing I need to figure out is the Border crossing, I always avoided it.
I don't know if I will be able to make it in 2011, but I will know in a few months, if not maybe if this trip was a success, you would do it again and I would go.
Anyway now you guys got my attention.

Oh and could a Crew Cab on 38-40" make the trip?
Locked front and rear with winch.
That is what I am building now so if it works I keep on track, if not I can change directions.

We'll talk about this when you come down.:waytogo:

That would be so cool. I was planning on buying a tow rig to pull my Blazer up there for this trip, but it would be cool to not have to do that! :) I need a pick up anyway for my work, but it would be cool to not have to bother with finding the right tow rig right away.

Yes, it would do fine :waytogo:Stock Wheelbase???

So Colby and Issam you guys are both planning on coming?

Sweet, I am not bringing my rig but flying up this year (thanks to Gus) Well 2011

Planning on taking hours of video and taking a billion or so pictures.

Fully planning on making a cool DVD of the whole adventure or as Mike would put it just everyday wheeling and scenery :D

Mike was getting kinda bummed cuz it seemed like everybody was backing out, but Hopefully we'll have a good turnout!!

for anybody thats 8-lug and running and can clear some 40's I have 40" ag's on wheels that if I finish my rig I wont be running and can be borrowed for the trip

Well I know about all that, I was just saying that I might have to deal with it.
I am still not a confirmed, but it's food for thought.
If my sister decides to get married then all bets are off but if not, this is a nice goal to work for.

What size and kind are those tires and wheels on your truck YellowK20? I am thinking of getting a set for my K20 for the wet winters down here so i can feed the cows.
